The Bickel Block was part of the White Stag redevelopment led by Art DeMuro, who Jessica Engeman assisted with the tax credit financing.

Historic Redevelopment & Adaptive Reuse Feasibility

Every existing building has strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and risks.  Having direct experience with developing historic properties, we recognize the value of an early feasibility assessment. Drawing from our network of qualified architects and contractors, we collaborate with these firms to document existing conditions, ascertain building code requirements, develop a schematic design, and obtain construction pricing. Armed with this information, we work with our clients to evaluate their project’s viability and determine opportunities for historic preservation incentives.

The 1883 Bickel Building—one of the three historic structures comprising the White Stag Block—was a deteriorating warehouse before it was redeveloped, financed in part with historic tax credits.
